The Pierce’s Strength
For Annabelle
Every movement needs a heartbeat. Mine has always been my daughter, Annabelle.
The strength that carries me through the longest nights and the heaviest burdens is not born from ambition, but from a father’s clear-eyed fear of what the world will become if we do nothing. I have seen the path we are on, and I do not like the future it leaves for her — or for the children she may one day have.
Every blueprint, every policy, every fight for cleaner systems is, in truth, a fight for her right to inherit a livable world. The mission is bigger than one man, but the spark that keeps it alive comes from the love between a father and a daughter.
Annabelle, your name will not just be remembered in my work — it will be woven into it, carried forward in every system we build to protect those still to come. You are my strength, my reason, and my unshakable reminder that this is not a mission we can afford to lose.
