Compensation: Up to 12.5% vested sweat equity + share of non-profit administrative/management budgets
Position Overview
Project PAW Carbon & Energy Solutions Corp. is seeking a Chief Executive Officer for Evergreen / Eden Solar Groves, its non-profit arm focused on environmental impact, clean energy infrastructure, and community-based initiatives.
This individual will hold Seat 3 on the Board of Directors and will lead all non-profit operations while aligning with the broader Project PAW ecosystem.
This is a partner-level role, not an employment position.
Mandate
Lead the non-profit entity with a focus on environmental stewardship, solar infrastructure deployment, and public-benefit outcomes, ensuring all initiatives are impactful, sustainable, and aligned with community needs.
Core Responsibilities
Direct all Evergreen / Eden Solar Groves operations
Oversee carbon strategy, environmental programs, and clean energy infrastructure deployment
Build and manage partnerships with:
Municipalities
Institutions
Local communities
Supervise and coordinate aligned for-profit structures that support the mission
Ensure all activities meet both impact objectives and long-term sustainability goals
Authority Scope
Full operational control of the non-profit entity and aligned initiatives
Strategic leadership across environmental programs and infrastructure deployment
Decision-making authority on partnerships and mission execution
Board & Leadership Role
Serves as Seat 3 on the Board of Directors
Acts as CEO of the Evergreen / Eden Solar Groves non-profit and its subsidiaries
Works in alignment with other executive and governance seats within Project PAW
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is best suited for individuals with:
Experience or education in Indigenous governance
Understanding of community-led decision-making frameworks
Background in environmental stewardship, sustainability, or land-based initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
Demonstrated leadership or executive-level capability
Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills
Ability to manage multi-stakeholder initiatives and long-term programs
Preferred / Assets:
Experience, education, or lived knowledge in Indigenous governance systems
Positive, established relationships with local Indigenous communities
Understanding of Indigenous land management practices
Experience in non-profit leadership, environmental programs, or renewable energy projects
Compensation & Partnership Structure
Up to 12.5% vested sweat equity in Project PAW Carbon & Energy Solutions Corp.
Participation in non-profit administrative and overhead management budgets
No personal financial investment required
Long-term leadership and board-level influence
