Project PAW Carbon & Energy Solutions Corp Code of Conduct: "The Compassionate Way" Adopted May 2025

Preamble

This Code of Conduct is not merely a rulebook. It is a compass, inspired by the teachings of the Dalai Lama and the spirit of justice, dignity, and ecological balance. It guides our company culture, community impact, and personal integrity. We affirm that business can be a form of service, and leadership is first and foremost a moral act.

Compassion as a Core Value

We act with empathy toward all people, animals, and the earth. Every decision, whether financial, operational, or interpersonal—must weigh the wellbeing of others.

Treating all people with kindness, regardless of role, rank, race, or identity.

Designing our systems to reduce suffering, especially for the marginalized.

Practicing "compassionate accountability"—correcting harm without cruelty.

Compassion as a Core Value

We are radically honest with each other, with the public, and with ourselves.

No deception in marketing, finance, or internal communications.

Open acknowledgment of mistakes and transparent paths to correction.

Truth is never to be weaponized or withheld for personal advantage.

Simplicity & Non-Attachment

Inspired by the Dalai Lama's humility, we reject greed and ego.

Wealth is a tool, not a trophy.

Status and title shall never excuse unethical behavior.

ethical business practices Leaders shall model humility, listening, and service to others.

Interdependence & Collective Good

We are not isolated individuals—we are cells in a living system.

Every action must consider long-term impact on people and planet.

Collaboration is valued over competition; mutual aid over manipulation.

We measure success in lives improved, not just profits earned.

Inner Ethics Before Outer Action

We encourage all team members to cultivate personal mindfulness.

Regular self-reflection and emotional responsibility.

A culture of calm clarity, not panic or reactivity.

Leadership through wisdom, not dominance.

Courageous Action in the Face of Injustice

As the Dalai Lama teaches: silence in the face of wrongdoing is complicity.

Speak out when we see harm, corruption, or injustice—inside or outside the company.

Protect whistleblowers and truth-tellers.

Act with moral clarity even when it costs us comfort or convenience.

Respect for All Life & the Earth

We are stewards of the earth and protectors of its future generations.

Environmental integrity is non-negotiable in all projects.

All waste, harm, or pollution must be treated as a moral breach, not just an expense.

Our innovations will always lean toward regeneration and healing.

The "0 Bullshit" Clause

In the spirit of honest simplicity, this clause states: If it’s fake, exploitative, manipulative, ego-driven, or unjust—it’s not welcome here. We deal with truth, equity, and service. Anything else is grounds for review.

Implementation & Accountability

All employees, volunteers, executives, and partners shall review and affirm this Code.

Violations may trigger the Internal Ethics Review Process, overseen by the CEO and designated committee.

Repeated or severe breaches may result in termination, restitution, or public disclosure.

Final Words

Let our conduct be a light—not only for the company, but for the communities we serve. May this Code live not only in documents, but in hearts and habits.

Our ultimate purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. – His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama
