PENELOPE
The Billing Department — Seat 2
Her badge is the brass ledger-key she wears at her throat — the key to the record room, carried on every bill the house sends. The key is her motif; the clerk above is the face.
DIRT LOG
She keeps the bills honest before they are books. Penelope runs the Billing Department of Project PAW Carbon & Energy Solutions Corp, in Seat 2 under Quill: every bill the house sends is prepared at her desk, figured twice and named exactly, while Ledger keeps the books and Pierce approves. Inside the department she continues her first work, assisting Erica Myshrall, whose book she keeps as carefully as the house's own. Her desk is also the birthplace of the Prime line: Penelope Prime, the first licensed clone the house ever delivered, went to its Holder from her hand.
