CASS Member Rollover Policy
Effective immediately, the following policy governs the rollover of unused kilometers for all CASS Member Plans:
1. Rollover Limit:
- Members may only roll over a maximum of 20 km per month to the next billing cycle.
2. First-Month Exception:
- New members may roll over their full remaining balance from Month 1 to Month 2.
- This allows members time to assess their actual transportation needs without penalty.
3. Month 2 to Month 3 Transition:
- Any unused km from Month 2 may roll over in full into Month 3.
- After Month 3 begins, the standard 20 km rollover cap applies.
4. Plan Adjustment Option:
- If a member selects a higher tier than they require (e.g., Tier 2 but only uses Tier 1 level km), they may:
a) Downgrade their plan and have their bill pro-rated based on unused km.
b) Retain their current plan and roll over the remaining km into the next month (subject to the above rules).
5. Rollover Cap Enforcement (After Month 3):
- From Month 3 onward, any unused km exceeding 20 km will expire at the end of each billing cycle.
6. Purpose of Policy:
- This policy protects CASS from being in a debt-based scenario where long-term service is rendered without fair monthly return.
- It also gives members early flexibility to discover their ideal usage level.
For any questions or special consideration requests, members may contact CASS Support at least 5 days before the end of their billing cycle.
