4-Day Work Week Policy
Adopted: May 2025
Purpose
We don't exist to punch clocks-we exist to build a future.
The 4-Day Work Week is not a perk. It's a principle.
It reflects our belief that well-rested people create better systems, and that high-performance doesn't
come from burnout-it comes from balance, ownership, and trust.
This policy gives you space to breathe, rest, reflect, create, and show up strong.
But it also demands personal responsibility, clarity of purpose, and real results.
Policy Terms
- Minimum, Not Maximum:
This is a 4-day minimum output expectation-not a 4-day cap.
If you're getting the job done in four days, fantastic.
But if your output suffers, or your priorities slip-you work more. Simple.
- Self-Managed Time:
You are trusted to manage your own time.
If we have to start managing it for you, you will default back to a 5-day supervised
schedule-because 5-day models are easier to micromanage.
- Accountability Still Applies:
The 4-Day Work Week is a privilege granted under the assumption of trust, clarity, and
consistency.
All output is still subject to bullshit audits, peer review, and leadership evaluation.
Expectations
- Deliver quality results on time.
- Stay aligned with your team and your commitments.
- Communicate proactively.
- Ask for support before failure becomes fallout.
- Respect that emergencies, launches, or team dependencies may occasionally require extra hours
or temporary 5-day weeks.
Final Word
You want freedom? Earn it.
You want trust? Protect it.
The 4-Day Work Week is not a vacation. It's a vow-to yourself, your team, and this mission.
Don't abuse it. Don't make us take it away.
Do it right-and you'll never want to go back.
